LOGARITHM REVIEW:

Take notes using white sheet in ISN p. 54.

414 through 4/21
You are responsible for the work assigned each day even if you are absent since it is made available online. Any handouts and homework worksheets are made available as printable documents at the bottom of each day's outline.
Thurs. 4/14 & Fri. 4/15
Update ISN: Solving Quadratic Inequalities p. 49 1. Grab a set of handouts.
2. Tape Example 3 to top line of p. 49. 3. Then tape Example 2 to top line. 4. Tape Example 1 to top line. 5. Then tape "Steps" to top line. 6. Watch the video and write notes for each example. 7. Fill in the blanks on the "Steps"
sheet using what you've learned from our class activities and the videos. 8. HW #8: Solving Quadratic Inequalities Worksheet If you were absent or lost your handouts, then print the documents below:

Mon. 4/18 & Tues. 4/19
Update ISN:
Solving Absolute Value Eqs. & Ineqs. p. 50 1. Grab a set of handouts.
2. Fold "Steps" page in half hamburger style so you can see the steps. 3. Fold other page in half hamburger style so you can see problem 2a. 4. Put the problem 2a's folded page inside the "Steps" folded page. 5. Staple where indicated. 6. Glue your booklet to ISN page 50. 7. Write the notes below at the bottom of your "Steps" sheet where it says "REMEMBER!" REMEMBER!
* Absolute Value = Distance from zero * Multiplying or dividing both sides by a negative value while solving reverses the inequality sign because the relationship changes. Helpful Hints for today's video:
* WATCH what happens and listen carefully, then take notes. * The video has a LOT of information and he speaks quickly to review basic math as well as teach you new skills in a short amount of time, so stop the video whenever necessary to take notes and THINK about what was said/done. * Rewind and watch/listen again when necessary. * The goal is to understand what is happening, not just write down notes. 8. Watch the video and write notes for each problem if you don't see the problem, turn the page! 9. HW #9: Solving Absolute Value Eqs.
and Ineqs. Worksheet

Wed. 4/20& Thurs. 4/21
Update ISN:
Solving Systems of Inequalities
p. 51
Inverse Functions
p. 52
Solving Systems of Inequalities
p. 51
Inverse Functions
p. 52
1. Grab a set of handouts.
2. Complete your notes while watching the video lesson then tape into your ISN following the directions at the right. CHOICE: Watch the next video and take notes or practice what you've just learned by completing the first section of your homework. Whichever you choose, the other choice will need to be completed before our next class.
System of Ineqs. Notes:
3. Put tape on LEFT side of Ex. 3's sheet and attach it along the red margin line in your ISN. 4. Tape Ex. 1's sheet in the same way so that it lays on top of Ex. 3. 5. Tape the "Steps" sheet in the same way so that it lays
on top of Ex. 1.
Inverse Functions Notes:
6. Put tape on top edge of Example 2's sheet. Match it's bottom edge to the right side of your ISN page. 7. Put tape on top edge of Example 1's sheet. Tape it so
that you can still see "Example 2". 8. Put tape on top edge of Info. sheet. Tape it so
that you can still see "Example 1" and "Example 2". 9. HW #10: Solving Systems and Inverse Functions WS
If needed: Print the 1st handout twosided. Both handouts should be folded "hamburger" style and cut in half on the fold. Print HW worksheet 2sided.

Adding/Subtracting Rational Expressions
